Assistant Manager - Payroll & Compliance

Role & responsibilities

Payroll Management

• Accountable for payroll processing for India and International geographies.
• India - Ensure remittance of all components, i.e. Salary, Reimbursements, Special Payments, Meal Cards, Statutory Compliance, etc. are concluded by the last day of the month.
• International Work with payroll partners in respective international geographies and ensure timely processing of payroll and other benefits.

Post-payroll and MIS

• Monthly Payroll Data to F&A team for SAP upload.
• Provide Monthly Provisions to F&A team on components like Bonus, Leave Encashment, Incentives, etc.
• Update and create of Monthly MIS i.e., International, Salary, Manpower Cost, Dash Boards, Org. Charts, F&F Status, etc.

Audits

• Lead and drive Internal and Statutory Audits from payroll perspective. • Ensure no NCs or escalations from Audits.
• Create and execute action plans for any audit observations.

Automation

• Optimize the processes in Darwin Box system to automate day-to-day activities and reports.
• Drive new automation initiatives basis organizational needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant work experience of 5-8 years of managing payroll for over 2000 employees.
• Experience in managing International Payroll would be an advantage.
• Proficient in HRMS applications like Darwin Box, SAP, and other equivalent systems
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships / Stakeholders.
