Senior Manager-Project

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager - Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities as well as managing key projects within the organization. This includes ensuring optimal performance of systems, minimizing downtime, driving cost efficiency, and executing capital projects in alignment with business goals. The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and technical expertise to drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Management

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities, including downtime, maintenance costs, and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational policies.
• Troubleshoot complex machinery and system issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Establish and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability without overstocking.

Project Management

• Plan, execute, and oversee capital projects, including equipment installation, facility upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality, to align project objectives with organizational goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses for proposed projects.
• Lead efforts to integrate new technologies or systems to improve operational performance.

Team Leadership

• Develop a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and project managers.
• Ensure continuous training and upskilling of the team to meet technological advancements.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability within the team.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to negotiate contracts, ensure timely delivery of services, and maintain quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align maintenance and project activities with organizational needs.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and project management tools.
• Knowledge of HVAC and clean room.
• Expertise in managing large-scale equipment and facilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards, such as ISO 9001, OSHA, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
