Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead showroom expansions, store redesigns, marketing campaigns, and key organisational initiatives.
• Develop timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
• Work with senior management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Align and manage cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
• Motivate teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for all project-related updates and reports.
• Create, track, and optimise project budgets while ensuring financial compliance.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective decision-making.
• Select vendors, manage contracts, and oversee procurement processes.
• Identify challenges early and implement solutions to prevent delays.
• Address project roadblocks promptly to keep projects on track.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
• Use project management tools to monitor progress and optimise resource allocation.
• Provide senior management with project status updates, insights, and improvement opportunities.
• Document and approve any scope modifications through proper channels.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet brand standards and business objectives.
• Maintain detailed records of project decisions, deliverables, and communications.
• Conduct final evaluations, submit reports, and document lessons learned.
• Assess completed projects to enhance future expansion strategies

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years in project management, preferably in retail, luxury, or the jewellery sector.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent team management, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong ability to assess risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
• Skilled at handling multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and MS Office.
• Expertise in financial planning, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Detail-oriented, structured approach to planning and execution.
• Flexible in responding to evolving project requirements and business needs.
• Strong judgment in making strategic and operational decisions.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel between showrooms and relocate as the brand expands.
