PMC Project Manager-Construction/RMC/Admixture

Roles and responsibilities

• The project Manager shall co-ordinate with the Clients appointed consultants, contractors and vendors to facilitate the smooth and timely execution of the works.
• Advise the Management on the need for and make recommendations for the appointment of other consultants.
• Monitor the performance of Consultants, technical site supervisor and contractors in the performance of their duties.
• Establish procedures for checking that the consultants designs conform to the project brief.
• Establish appropriate channels of communication between members of the project team.
• Prepare and maintain a master development programme from detailed design to completion to record principal activities and identify critical dates.
• Check that applications for statutory consents, government grants etc. are submitted in accordance with the master programme.
• Prepare and Review BOQ, Monitor procurement and ensure that it is in line with the specifications and cost estimates
• Monitor the Cost and ensure adherence to budgeted costs.
• Advise on commissioning implications and of alternative designs and materials.
• In coordination with Production Manager and Site Supervisor, arrange for the preparation and maintenance of cash flow forecasts and statement for monitoring project expenditure.
• Do adequate supervision in accordance with requirement and undertake regular site inspections.

Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Location: Chennai

Experience:

8-10 years relevant experience in Construction Industry, PMC and Project Management

Candidates with precast knowledge is preferred

Good oral and written communication skills

Able to start work within short notice will be an advantage
