We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated professional to join our Partnerships team as an AVP - Partnerships & Alliances.
This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our affinity business in the financial services sector, focusing on partnerships with NBFCs, digital lenders, and fintech companies.
It offers an exciting opportunity to work independently, shape a pan-India business, and contribute to the overall strategic vision of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Identify, target, and onboard strategic partners within the financial services ecosystem, including NBFCs, digital lenders, and fintechs.
- Create and execute a roadmap for affinity partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop innovative partnership models that deliver value to both partners and end customers.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders within client organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular partner reviews to assess performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for growth.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
- Lead end-to-end partnership negotiations, including deal structuring, pricing, and contractual agreements.
- Collaborate with internal legal and compliance teams to finalize agreements while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Market Research & Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the affinity insurance landscape.
- Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities and refine go-to-market strategies.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of partners, working closely with internal operations, technology, and support teams.
- Monitor partnership performance metrics, including revenue growth, customer acquisition, and engagement levels.
Travel & Outreach: Travel extensively across India (at least twice a month) to engage with partners, conduct presentations, and build relationships.
Experience & Qualifications:
Industry Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the affinity insurance business, including key drivers of success in partnerships with NBFCs, fintechs, and digital lenders.
- Proven track record of successfully building and scaling affinity partnerships in the insurance or financial services industry.
Professional Network:
- A well-established network of decision-makers and influencers within the financial services ecosystem.
Work Experience:
- 7+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the insurance sector.
- Demonstrated success in individual contributor roles with significant revenue generation responsibility.
Skills:
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive execution and deliver measurable results.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
