Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Team Leader to lead a team of sales representatives focused on Business Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP). The ideal candidate will drive sales performance by setting targets, coaching team members, fostering relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also be responsible for developing a company-wide sales strategy and instilling a high-performance culture within the team.

Key Responsibilities:


Sales Target Achievement: Lead the team in meeting and exceeding monthly loan sales targets by designing and implementing effective sales strategies specific to Business Loans and LAP.


Team Management:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of loan sales representatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure maximum productivity and professional development.

Customer Relationship Building:

  • Build strong relationships with both potential and existing customers to understand their needs and tailor appropriate Business Loan and LAP solutions.
  • Focus on excellent customer service and develop long-term trust and loyalty.

Lead Generation:

  • Drive new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, market research, and networking activities.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Regularly track individual and team performance against sales targets.
  • Identify underperformance and implement corrective actions to optimize sales efforts.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all loan origination guidelines, regulatory compliance, and ethical sales practices related to Business Loans and LAP.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize insights from data to refine sales strategies and drive team performance.

Sales Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the loan sales process, enhancing efficiency and improving the overall customer experience.
    Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and actionable insights.


Desired Skills:


  • Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing a sales team, achieving consistently high targets in Business Loans and LAP sales.
  • Financial Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of Business Loans and Loan Against Property (LAP), including eligibility criteria, terms, conditions, and compliance requirements.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with and understand customer needs, offering tailored loan solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and senior management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data and trends, providing actionable insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Motivation and Coaching: Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and coach a sales team to achieve peak performance.
  • Compliance Awareness: In-depth knowledge of loan regulations and compliance standards, particularly in the areas of Business Loans and LAP.


Experience Required:


  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally within the financial services sector, specifically dealing with Business Loans and LAP.
  • Proven track record in managing loan sales teams, ideally in a Fintech environment, with a focus on Business Loans and LAP.
