Job Description

Senior Engineer - SCM Solar Manufacturing
Duties Responsibilities:
Collecting requirements from Consultant/Technical team.
Preparing RFQ and floating in markets to collect offers/proposals, arrangement of Technical
meetings with vendors for technical clarification/scope understanding, getting technical
compliance and subsequent technical approvals from user team.
New Vendor Creation
Negotiating of Commercial terms conditions, signing MOMs, Preparing Price Comparatives,
Conducting Reverse Auctions/manual negotiations and award of contract.
Interactions with various internal department s like, Finance, Legal, Consultant, Engineering,
Project, Logistics etc.
Kick Off Meeting with Project Team.
Understanding Project BOM Project Requirement.
Preparing Note for approval (NFA) documents and submit for management approval.
Regular updating the tracker after every activity on daily basis.
Coordinating with project departments for generation of PR in SAP for their requirement for
100% SAP implementation.
Handling all SAP activity of Purchase and issuing LOI/PO to vendors.
Coordination with contractors for the site mobilization with Manpower/Equipment.
Arranging draft LC acceptance /PI from the suppliers/contractors.
Coordination with accounts for the advance payment, LC/PBG draft acceptance payments.
After PO/LOI, follow ups with vendor for drawings, GTP other PQ Documents for end Client
approval.
Coordination with Supplier and end client for arranging the vendor, documents -approval and
arranging the inspection call.
Coordination with quality team for the inspection of material at the supplier s end and
providing MDCC to the suppliers after the inspection approval from the quality team.
Coordinate with Vendors for Timely dispatch of material as per PO terms and as per Project
team planning.
Communicate with vendors to resolve problems with the timeliness/quality of supplies.
Implement effective end to end Supply Chain Management for existing operations and new
projects.
Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to
discuss production forecasts or changes.
Maintaining record of daily dispatch received Material through trackers.
Client acceptance/rejection, warranties, and other related follow up matters with the supplier
till completion of Projects.
Clear Vendor Payment with the help of Finance Department.
Research vendors to find the best products and prices available within a given market.
Package Handled: Fire Fighting, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical Plumbing Packages

PROFILE Eligible Criteria
EDUCATION: Engineering degree from premier state/national university, in
Electrical/Mechanical
Experience Range - 6 -8 years
Experience in EPC/solar energy field (SCM, Purchase, Procurement etc)
Good in SAP strong Negotiation power.
Analytical approach to problem solving with focus on solution delivery
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills;
