Business Development Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our footprint in the transport industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue through innovative sales strategies.


Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) – Mobility Industry
Location: Bangalore and Mumbai
Experience: 6-7 years (Preferably in Mobility, Transportation, or Aviation industries)
Salary: 12-18 Lacs


Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth in the mobility industry with a focus on airport mobility solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships within transportation, mobility tech, or related industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy: Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities in the mobility sector.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airport authorities, transportation providers, and corporate clients.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Generate leads, negotiate deals, and close contracts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with technology providers, OEMs, and mobility service operators to enhance service offerings.
  • Proposal & Pitching: Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and RFP responses for potential clients.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product, marketing, and operations teams to tailor solutions based on customer needs.
  • Reporting & Performance Metrics: Track sales performance, pipeline growth, and key business KPIs to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to expand business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on sales performance, market developments, and potential risks.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: 6-7 years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in mobility, transportation, or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with airport mobility, EV solutions, ride-hailing, fleet management, or urban transport systems.
  • Strong Networking & Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage with C-level executives, government agencies, and enterprise clients.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to interpret market data and propose viable business solutions.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Proficiency in delivering high-impact presentations and negotiations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Understanding of mobility technologies, digital platforms, and emerging industry trends.
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with airport authorities, transport regulators, or major mobility service providers.
  • Knowledge of EV infrastructure, ride-hailing platforms, or smart mobility solutions.
