Senior Technician - O&M (Solar)

Role & responsibilities

1. Monitor and maintain rooftop solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.

2. Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of solar panels, inverters, and associated equipment.

3. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize energy output.

4. Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.

5. Maintain detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

7. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, as needed.

8. Provide technical support for system upgrades, modifications, and improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy Engineering.

2. 1.5+ years of experience in solar plant operations and maintenance (rooftop or ground-mounted).

3. Strong knowledge of PV system components, including inverters, panels, and transformers.

4. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults.

5. Familiarity with safety procedures and relevant industry standards.
