Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, linen and laundry services, public area cleaning, and inventory management.
• Ensure efficient and timely service delivery to all guests.
• Monitor and control housekeeping costs to maximize profitability.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry staff, and public area cleaners.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve high performance levels.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
• Address employee concerns and resolve any issues promptly.
• Guest Relations:
• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
• Build strong relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience.
• Safety and Hygiene:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel, ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Implement and monitor safety and security procedures to protect guests and staff.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Inventory Management:
• Manage inventory levels of all housekeeping supplies, including linen, toiletries, and cleaning chemicals.
• Monitor usage and minimize wastage.
• Place orders for supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role in a hotel environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Knowledge of hotel operating systems and procedures.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
