Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team at Raga On The Ganges

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our guests

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role to showcase their skills in a picturesque location on the banks of the Ganga river.

Qualifications And Skills

1 to 3 years of experience as a Barista or similar role

Strong knowledge of coffee-making techniques and espresso beverages

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality beverages

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members

Basic cash handling and math skills

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Certification in barista training is a plus

Roles And Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to our recipes and standards

Assist guests in selecting beverages and answer any questions they may have about our menu

Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders, to ensure the quality of each beverage

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation station and equipment

Handle cash and process payments accurately

Upsell additional products, such as pastries or snacks, to enhance the guest experience

Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner

Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations

Stay updated on new coffee blends and brewing techniques to recommend and offer unique and innovative beverages to guests

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
