Assistant General Manager / Deputy General Manager - Estimation

(Designation will be given as per the years of experience & current Job title)

Location - Mumbai (Bandra)

Industry - Real estate (Developer side)

Preferred candidate profile (Must have):

- Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with At least 10 years of relevant experience from Real estate developers handling overall estimation of the Project.

- Well versed with ERP - Awareness of other construction design software if required.

- Be aware of the industry norms, practices & regulations. - Be informed about competition.

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for forecasting and anticipating the project requirements including cost and material procurement.

1. Analyze project requirements, project feasibility data and prepare preliminary budget estimate based on concept and architectural drawings.

2. Obtaining cost efficiency for different products available in the market and identify the right fit for the brand with respect to to design , material or service.

3. Monitor and Track the cost estimates and progress periodically and identify and changes in the project leading to cost deviation.

4. Ensure rates in the WO & PO are within budget/estimate.

5. Reconcile material used and maintain reports to track with budgeted quantity.

6. Prepare cost review statements, reconciliation and cash flow statements.

7. Work with a flexible approach to accommodate various requirements of the project with priority to organizations objective.

8. Preparation of BOQ with detailed specification to be sent to contractors and follow up for quotations/tender.

9. Preparation of work orders as per finalized BOQ, agreed terms and condition.

10. Work closely with the procurement, contract and design team to obtain required information for budget estimation and monitoring.
