The Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Sales is responsible for overseeing the real estate sales department, driving sales targets, managing a team of sales professionals, and ensuring that company goals and client satisfaction standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales agents to meet or exceed targets.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust tactics as needed to ensure maximum sales growth.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to existing sales staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and address challenges.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Oversee client interactions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve any complex client issues or complaints in a timely manner.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team achievements.
- Provide feedback to senior management on potential improvements in sales processes or strategy.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Ensure efficient management of sales processes, including lead generation, client follow-ups, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure effective communication and lead generation.
- Ensure that all sales documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in real estate sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the real estate market and trends.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making.
Strong negotiation skills.
- Real estate license (depending on the location or company requirements).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in real estate sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
