Alembic - General Manager/Deputy General Manager/Assistant General Manager - Portfolio Management & Analytics - US Business (10-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

US Generics Portfolio Management:

- Ideate and select generics for development.

- Lead API and formulation selection across various dosage forms (oral solids, injectables, ophthalmic, topicals).

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal capabilities to optimize the portfolio.

- Identify and prioritize new product opportunities and lifecycle management strategies.

- Oversee product selection across geographies (US, Europe, Canada, Australia, Brazil).

- Track new approvals, assess opportunities, and develop contingency plans for pipeline optimization.

- Define and monitor KPI dashboards for portfolio health and risks.

Technical Strategy:

- Collaborate with R&D leaders to define long-term technical strategies across dosage forms.

- Align pipeline strategies with evolving technology platforms.

Team Development & People Management:

- Foster a customer-oriented and innovative team culture.

- Promote leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills among team members.

Requirements:

- Education: Science/Pharma graduate with M.Pharm, Ph.D., or MBA from a reputed institution.

- Experience: 8-12 years in Generics Drug Development, Portfolio Management, or Project Management.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of the global generics landscape, regulatory environments, and pricing strategies.

- Proficiency in market research tools (IQVIA, IPD Analytics, GlobalData, Cortellis).

- Excellent project management, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
