Job Role:
The position is primarily responsible is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's operational functions. Working with the management team, the position contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices. The position also interacts with board of directors as required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing functioning and management of operational areas viz. Production, Planning /Manufacturing /Raw material Stores/Finished Goods Warehouse and Logistics/Maintenance and Engineering, so that products are manufactured and distributed on schedule, with quality standards and cost objectives.
- Day to day coordination with respective head of departments to ensure that immediate targets are met as per quality policies/ SOP's/ current regulatory norms and get the departmental performance reports on regular basis.
Organizational Development:
- Plan and seek factory optimization concerns and requirements and coordinate with management for sanctions wherever relevant
- Oversee and Negotiate for all projects for infrastructural development in the factory.
- Communicate vision/policies/expectations of management with team so they have clear understanding of line of action
- Assisting upper management to further the organizational growth, as and when required
Planning and Controlling Cost strategy:
- Identifying/recommending and implementing changes with operations team to improve productivity /operational efficiency / reduce wastage /cost as a continuous process
- Initiation/coordination and implementation of new projects ,layout changes, installation of Capital equipment's and major repairs /maintenance in consultation with HO and senior management in conjunction with long-term planning of the organization
- Preparation of capital/strategic /manpower budget and other reports as required along with finance and HR department.
Education: B. Pharma /Biological Sc grad with a higher degree in pharma/Bio-Sc
Industry: Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing
Other Skill: MS Office, SAP
Exposure: ISO9001, SAP implementation, Projects related to expansion/ construction, Greenfield projects, handling of large workforce, Zero Emulsion, IR experience
