NSL Sugars - Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Bio CNG Project (15-20 yrs)

Operational Leadership:

- Manage and oversee all aspects of plant operations, including biogas production, Bio CNG upgrading, and distribution.

- Develop and implement operational procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity.

- Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshoot operational issues, and schedule maintenance as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the handling of biogas, bio-cng, and other materials.

- Implement and maintain safety training programs for plant staff.

- Manage compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Production Planning:

- Develop production plans to meet bio-cng production targets.

- Monitor daily operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently.

- Maintain inventory control of feedstock and bio-cng product.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality bio-cng.

- Conduct quality inspections and product testing as required.

Budget Management:

- Manage and optimize operational budgets.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce operational expenses.

Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:

- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure a steady supply of organic waste and the efficient delivery of biomethane to the gas off taker.

- Maintain good relationships with regulatory authorities and the gas off taker.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, or business management).

- Proven experience in plant management or related roles within the biogas or waste-to-energy industry.

- Strong understanding of biogas production, bio cng upgrading, and related processes.

- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and quality assurance standards.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Budget management and cost-control experience.

Project experience:

- Monitor the construction, testing and commissioning of the plant.

- Review of project planning, scheduling and monthly progress reports.

- Responsible for Operations & Maintenance, Management of feedstock.

- Performing testing and analyses testing data as well as making recommendations and design modifications.

- Solid Exposure in Waste Collection & Transportation management and Storage.

- Responsible for Stakeholder Management - Liasioning with Government Bodies, Networking with Agencies, Farmers, other supplier groups.

- Making sure all works are as per drawings & schedule.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Environmental science

Experience:

- 15 + years
