About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HR to join our leadership team. As the top HR executive, you will drive the strategic and operational aspects of human resources, fostering a people-first culture while aligning HR practices with business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in scaling the organization, building high-performing teams, and nurturing an inclusive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
- Partner with the leadership team to shape organizational growth and culture.
- Identify workforce planning and talent strategies to meet the startup's scaling needs.
2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Build a robust hiring strategy for leadership, technical, and operational roles.
- Enhance employer branding to attract top talent in a competitive market.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
3. Organizational Development & Culture
- Champion a strong company culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
- Design employee engagement initiatives that improve morale and retention.
- Foster a continuous learning and development environment.
4. Performance Management & Leadership Development
- Implement systems to evaluate and enhance individual and team performance.
- Develop leadership development programs for high-potential employees.
- Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and managers on HR best practices.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with the startup's budget and growth stage.
- Regularly review and benchmark policies to ensure market competitiveness.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Manage employee grievances and develop policies for a safe and ethical workplace.
7. HR Technology & Analytics
- Leverage HR tech tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Use data-driven insights to forecast workforce trends and HR performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in HR leadership roles, preferably in startups or high-growth organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organizational goals.
- Experience in scaling teams and managing rapid organizational growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
