Key Responsibilities :
Strategic:
- Provide advice and guidance to the Executive Board and managers on employment matters; influencing management and the leadership around the people agenda to maximise service performance.
- Consult with line management and identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Business leaders to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Build and develop the right culture by ensuring that values are clearly percolated to the lowest level and demonstrated in behaviors.
- Creates a high-performance company culture, motivates and facilitates team execution by inspiring employees to perform to their full potential
Management and Support:
- Partner with stakeholders and business partners in ensuring that best practices are being adopted, ensuring the delivery of projects as required as well as ensuring that key deliverables are met within the specified timelines.
- Ensure key stakeholders are informed / consulted on relevant changes such as restructures, redundancies and retirements etc.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. - Coach the departmental heads and management in performance management processes, compensation and remuneration programs, recruitment practices, and management decision making. - Actively participate in project teams, and implement initiatives while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
Talent Acquisition - Design, develop, and execute recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies for talent attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talent to drive the achievement of the business's overall objectives.
- Deliver key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, pay and reward. Build and maintain a candidate pipeline through vast networking.
- Develop contract terms for new hires and transfers.
- Attract and retain top quality talent
Operations:
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex work, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Manage health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy.
- Comply with the Employee Code of Conduct, Data Protection and information security policies at all times.
Analytics:
- Report on all people metrics as necessary, such as turnover, absenteeism, etc.
- Analyze human resources program activity, conduct performance analyses of the programs, prepare reports and proposals from findings, and present them to senior management for consideration.
- Utilise people data and analytics to measure trends and patters to influence the effectiveness of our people policies and plans to help drive continuous improvements and increase performance.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Partner and coach managers to support the delivery of people plans and initiatives and encourage a culture of line manager responsibility and accountability for front line human resources.
- Lead the development of innovative wellbeing initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and improve performance.
- Develop, deliver and evaluate training materials, presentations and workshops as required in relation to specialist and generalist subject areas.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with using HRMS and other Office tools.
