Finance Controllership (US GAAP/US Tax) - Vice President

We are currently hiring for our client, a Healthcare business process services company. It's a 20-year-old organization headquartered in the US. Led by a Private Equity firm, they aim to grow 5X in 5 years driven by multiple tuck in acquisitions.

Position : Global Finance Controller - Vice President (Reporting to CFO)

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Reporting
2. US GAAP and IGAAP/IFRS
3. Merger & Acquisitions
4. Lender Reporting/ Debt Management
5. Tax Compliance (India & US)
6. Audit Management
7. Team (and vendor) management
8. Cash Management, Financial Policies and Procedures, Support the ERP implementation project and ensure seamless operations throughout the implementation period and thereafter, Ultimately support the Exit for the PE investors by participating in sell side diligence

Required Experience:

• Preferably CA or CFA, with experience in US GAAP IGAAP/ IFRS, Merger & Acquisitions (M&A), Lender Reporting/ Debt management, and Tax (India & US).
• 18-28 years of total experience, including recent experience with leading Finance Controllership (US & India) function for Global Business Service industry (ideally ITES/ IT/ BPO/ KPO/ consulting/ captive). Led successful/ clean audits for several years.
• Strong management of cash across US and India; manage remittances and banking operations
• Team leadership experience with 5-20 team size; ability to hire/ develop and motivate
• Normal working hours would align with at least 5 hours overlap with US East coast (typical team time is 2p-11p) and there are extended hours/ weekends on occasion.
• Full/ advanced understanding of accounting standards (US GAAP) and IGAAP and IFRS especially in the context of B2B service industry
• Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes for USA and India
• Knowledge and management of vendors and AP, especially GST, MSME etc. regulations in India
• Knowledge/ understanding of company law and other regulations in India
• Advanced experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge and experience working with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion or Workday (also Quickbooks and Tally as we transition out of them)
