About the Role:
- This is a growth hacker position focused on expanding consumable sales.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of packaging and barcoding and excel in communicating industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers through written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure.
- Collaborate with the inside sales team to build a strong lead pipeline for consumable sales.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Manage and nurture key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and ensure recurring revenue.
- Conduct thorough discovery of customer environments and convert opportunities into sales by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
Product Knowledge & Sales:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of labels and ribbons for barcode printers, staying updated on features, benefits, and applications.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
Quota Attainment & Performance Tracking:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through a combination of new business acquisition and retention strategies.
- Regularly analyze sales performance and implement action plans to meet or exceed quotas.
Collaboration & Market Intelligence:
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to provide insights on market trends and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 5-8 years in product sales within the barcode printing, labeling, or packaging industry.
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of label printing technologies and materials.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team.
- Experience in industries such as IT, AIDC, or Healthcare is a plus
