Team Lead - Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Motivation:
- Lead, manage, and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to ensure alignment with hospital goals.
- Motivate and inspire team members to exceed sales targets and enhance productivity.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to promote the hospital's eye care services effectively.
- Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and new client segments.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and ensure competitiveness.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Establish measurable sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Monitor individual and team performance, preparing detailed reports for management review.
- Utilize sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques, customer engagement, and hospital services.
- Coach team members to enhance their skills and achieve their professional development goals.
- Ensure all team members maintain an up-to-date understanding of the hospital's offerings.
Client Relationship Management:
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ensure the team delivers top-notch customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
- Work proactively to improve client retention and satisfaction rates.
- Collaboration with Internal Departments
- Partner with the marketing team to align sales campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Coordinate with hospital management and operations to address client needs and streamline processes.
Recruitment and Team Building:
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales team members.
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture within the team.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in the healthcare or hospital industry is strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
- Sales Expertise: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM tools, sales performance tracking systems, and reporting software.
