Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Prioritize testing activities and manage test data effectively.
- Execute test cases meticulously and accurately report defects.
- Define severity and priority for each identified defect, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to guarantee the stability and functionality of existing systems after updates or changes.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation to understand testing requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testability.
- Participate in backlog refinement sessions to gain a deep understanding of data privacy requirements and controls.
- Accurately document and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
- Provide detailed defect reports and analysis to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure that testing is meaningfully integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Collect information and review documents to understand testing needs from an end-to-end user perspective.
- Leverage ITIL knowledge to support incident and problem management processes, contributing to system stability and uptime.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in software testing.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in preparing, developing, and executing test cases.
- Proven ability to conduct regression testing and defect reporting.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
Desired Skills :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Experience with HRIT systems like Workday, SAP HR, Oracle HCM.
