We are searching for a highly talented Partnership Manager, Media Team to maximize and develop all commercial aspects of our events portfolio.
You will develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in large enterprise customers and SMEs to establish viable leads and maximize business development opportunities. Essentially, you will sell delegate pass and group pass packages across multiple industry sectors to ensure targets are met in line with projected sales forecasts. You will take ownership of sales campaign planning and be fully responsible for data management.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development : Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities based on the company s strategic objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to assess partnership potential and competitive landscape. Develop a pipeline of potential alliance partners.
Relationship Management : Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at partner organizations. Foster open lines of communication and serve as the main point of contact for all alliance-related activities. Collaborate with internal teams to align objectives and ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
Negotiation and Contracting : Lead the negotiation process with prospective partners, including structuring agreements, defining key terms, and ensuring alignment between parties. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize partnership contracts and agreements.
Partnership Execution : Oversee the implementation of partnership initiatives, ensuring the successful execution of joint marketing campaigns, cobranded activities, and other mutually beneficial projects. Monitor and track partnership performance against defined metrics and KPIs.
Performance Analysis : Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting on partnership initiatives. Evaluate the impact of alliances on business objectives, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for optimization and growth.
Industry and Market Awareness : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Identify emerging opportunities and potential risks that could impact partnership strategies. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.
The Person
Minimum one year of relevant B2B experience, ideally within a conferencing/exhibition business
A demonstrable track record of exceeding targets
Experience with research and maintaining databases
An ability to rapidly understand new topics and industries and identify the key sectors to sell into
New business development
Flawless English communication (verbal and written) with exceptional interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience in using CRM
Strong project and time management skills
Experience working with Western companies (preferred)
