Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead manufacturing operations for 2 plants.

Educational Qualifications:

Preferably a Master s in Pharmacy or an Engineering background with 20 plus years of experience.

Experience:

20 years +. Ability to lead plant operations. Soft Gel experience is an added advantage though not mandatory. OSD experience is required. Should have handled a site operating product to US / EU / ROW markets

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and management of the operations of 2 manufacturing sites located in Bangalore & Sarigam, Gujarat, and any additional sites.
Ensuring a team-based culture, and positive interactions with other teams within the company and with users /clients.

Experience with USFDA, EU, MHRA, TGA Audits.
Maintain Audit ready status of manufacturing sites.
Ensuring Quality enhancement and compliance.

Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan for operational excellence & cost reduction.

Strategize for automation of plants.
Preparation and management of capital & revenue budget.
Develop the company s operating culture and overall company vision.
Support planning & implementation of RNR program for both sites.
Develop LRP Plan.

Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed at the sites and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify and address problems with worker committee etc. wherever required for the company.
Build alliances, rapport with the company, and partnerships with other organizations. Projects Planning, Procurement & Execution.Execution of projects for plant set up, expansion, modernization, installation & commissioning of equipment.
Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution, involving finalization of technical specifications, tendering, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring, erection, testing & commissioning, site management, manpower planning & liaison.
Ensuring execution of activities/projects within time & budgetary parameters.
