Job Description
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in the petrochemical industry with a focus on operations management and leadership.
- Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Lead and oversee the overall operations of the VCM plant, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational processes, improve productivity, and minimize downtime.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify areas for process enhancements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.
- Drive a culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation within the operations team, championing s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously improve the VCM plants operations and maintain a competitive edge.
