OpenShift Specialist - Virtualization (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Specialist to join STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in OpenShift, Cloud-Native applications, Microservices, Containers, and Virtualization Technologies, along with experience in IMS, VoLTE, and 4G/5G core technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters to ensure optimal performance.

- Manage OpenShift workloads, deployments, and networking.

- Implement and maintain security policies (RBAC, Network Policies, and regular audits).

- Monitor system health, optimize performance, and troubleshoot OpenShift environment issues.

- Provide technical support and ensure seamless operations of cloud-native applications.

- Work with Microservices architecture, Containers, and Virtualization technologies.

- Interface with customers and customer teams for technical collaboration and issue resolution.

- Work on IMS, VoLTE, and 4G/5G core technologies to support telecom-related workloads.

- Implement DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native best practices.

- Utilize Jira, Jenkins, and Salesforce for tracking and process management.

- Open to working in all shifts (Day/Night shifts) as per project requirements.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift (Installation, Configuration, Maintenance).

- Deep understanding of Cloud-Native, Microservices, and Containerization technologies.

- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Virtualization technologies.

- Knowledge of RBAC, Network Policies, and security auditing in OpenShift.

- Prior experience in IMS, VoLTE, and 4G/5G core technologies is a plus.

- Experience working with Nokia nodes is desirable.

- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Jira, and Salesforce.

- Ability to interface with customers and internal teams for effective collaboration.

- Open to working in rotational shifts (including night shifts)
