Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualifications:

a. BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Instrumentation/Mechatronics, with 10 to 18

years of experience in mechanical engineering.

b. Expertise in CERO, Auto CAD, Plastic component design in Fuel pumps, PRV and Fuel

pump modules (Both PMDC & BLDC)

c. Product design & development methodologies in design calculations, design

experiments, Design of manufacturing & GD&T.

d. Design approach & DFMEA / DFA/ DFM, Sheet Metal & Die casting.

e. Experience in Product Design and Development which includes design calculations,

design of experiments, GD&T and stack up analysis.

f. Excellent communication skills.

g. The candidate will be located at Plant 3 in Chinnamathampalayam, Coimbatore

Roles & Responsibilities:

a. Develop detailed 3D models of automotive components Fuel pumps, PRV and Fuel pump

modules (Both PMDC & BLDC)

b. Assemble individual parts into larger systems or vehicle modules within the software.

c. Refine designs for manufacturability and performance using Creo's advanced tools like

Behavioral Modeling.

d. Use Creo to create and visualize concept designs for automotive components,

incorporating customer or project requirements.

e. Utilize Creo's built-in FEA and CFD tools to simulate stress, thermal, and dynamic

conditions on components to ensure reliability and performance.

f. Create complex sheet metal parts or freeform surfaces, which are crucial for designing

body panels, enclosures, or aerodynamic components.

g. Generate detailed 2D drawings with dimensions, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and

Tolerancing), and annotations for manufacturing
