Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical parts for optical systems using Creo or CATIA.
  
• Support optical bonding and integration of displays, lenses, and light guides.
  
• Perform tolerance stack-up, GD&T, and DFM for high-precision assemblies.
  
• Collaborate with optics engineers for design validation and performance improvement.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and support prototyping, testing, and production.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of optical engineering principles related to display technology, including lensing, refraction, reflection, and light diffusion.
  
• Hands-on experience with optical simulation tools and display system design will be a plus.
  
• Experience with DFM, GD&T, DFMEA, and thermal/structural analysis.
  
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
  
• Prior experience working with LCD/TFT modules, backlighting components, or optical adhesives is highly desirable.
