NPD Sourcing Head - Electronics Components

a. Qualification: B. E / B. Tech/ M.E/M.Tech - in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science/ Instrumentation with 18+ Years of experience in procurement and sourcing of electronics components within the automotive industry, ideally within an NPD environment.

b. Strong knowledge of electronic components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

c. Excellent negotiation, Strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.

d. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective procurement strategies.

e. Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics, and inventory management.

f. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software tools.

g. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

h. The candidate will be located at Plant 1 in Perianaikenpalayam, Coimbatore

Roles & Responsibilities:

a. Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for automotive electronics materials aligned with the company's NPD (New Product Development) goals.

b. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, delivery, and innovation requirements.

c. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance.

d. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary to address issues and improve overall supplier performance.

e. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to understand material requirements and specifications.

f. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with overall project timelines and objectives.

g. Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and negotiation strategies without compromising quality or reliability.
