Key skills for the job
The Group CEO will be responsible for overseeing the Strategic direction and overall Operations of a group of companies, including setting the vision, managing performance across multiple business units, making major investment decisions, representing the group to external stakeholders, and reporting to the group's board of directors; essentially leading the entire group's strategy and execution while coordinating activities between different subsidiaries.
Key Roles:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Strategic Plan for the entire group, aligning individual business unit goals with the overall corporate vision.
Performance Management:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of each business unit within the group, identifying areas for
improvement and driving necessary adjustments.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the group's overall financial health, including budgeting, capital allocation, and risk
management across all subsidiaries.
P & L Management:
Accountable for P &L management by overseeing the overall financial performance of a group of
companies, setting strategic direction for each business unit within the group, and making key
decisions to maximize profitability across the entire organization, including managing revenue, costs,
and investments across all subsidiaries under their leadership.
Operational Management:
Monitor the Daily operations of the organisation by ensuring Effective Co ordination across various
business units
Collaboration with Leadership Teams:
Working closely with the CEOs or Heads of individual subsidiaries to ensure alignment with the group's
strategic goals and P&L objectives.
Executive Team Leadership:
Lead and guide the executive teams of individual business units, fostering collaboration and alignment
across the group.
Mergers & Acquisitions:
Evaluate potential acquisitions and partnerships that could benefit the group's strategic goals.
External Representation:
Act as the primary spokesperson for the group, engaging with investors, customers, partners, and the
media.
Talent Management:
Attract, develop, and retain top talent across the group, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities and potential risks
for the group.
Innovation & Growth:
Identify and Capitalise on new business opportunities partnership and markets
Head Innovation and digital transformation within the company
Board Communication:
Regularly present the group's performance and strategic initiatives to the board of directors, seeking approval and guidance on key decisions.
Qualifications:
Qualified MBA or Equivalent from premier institute .
Other professionally qualified candidates working at CEO level may also apply.
Eligibility:
Must have 20+ years experience with senior leadership roles handled in diversified business verticals , preferably from Retail /FMCG/Telecom sectors
