Senior Manager/Associate General Manager - Marketing


Requirements:


- Strong strategic thinking to develop and execute brand and marketing strategies for staples products, including ATL and field marketing strategies.

- Financial acumen with experience in P&L management and ensuring high ROI on marketing campaigns.

- Proven leadership to manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team.

- Expertise in brand management, field activations, and coordinating new product launches.

- Strong analytical skills for tracking campaign performance and deriving actionable insights.

- Proficiency in market research, consumer insights, and managing vendor relationships.

- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools to integrate with traditional marketing efforts

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must-Have:

- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies, including TV campaigns, outdoor media, and digital marketing, to strengthen brand presence for staples products.

- Collaborate with creative and media agencies to ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging across all marketing channels.

- Take full responsibility for the category's P&L, ensuring that marketing investments drive profitable growth.

- Lead national marketing campaigns focused on enhancing brand awareness and achieving key marketing objectives.

- Conceptualize field marketing activities such as in-store activations, consumer promotions, and product sampling programs to engage customers at the ground level.

- Develop and execute 360-degree marketing strategies, integrating ATL, BTL, digital and social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement across all platforms, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market trends.

- Monitor and assess the performance of marketing campaigns, ensuring a strong ROI on marketing spend and making adjustments when needed.

- Work collaboratively with finance and sales teams to align marketing budgets and expenditures with overall business goals.

- Lead consumer research initiatives to gather insights into market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.

- Coordinate with product development teams to ensure that new product launches are supported with integrated marketing efforts across channels.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and fostering a culture of high performance.

- Provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities to team members to ensure professional growth and skill enhancement

Good-to-Have:

- Managing large-scale, cross-functional marketing projects involving collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

- Executing successful brand partnerships and collaborations that enhance brand visibility and market positioning.

- Familiarity with evolving digital marketing trends and the ability to seamlessly integrate them into traditional ATL and field marketing strategies.

- Launching and promoting innovative products within highly competitive markets, demonstrating creative approaches to market penetration.

- Strong adaptability to adjust marketing strategies based on changing consumer preferences and evolving market dynamics.

- Advanced analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data, using these insights to continuously improve and refine marketing campaigns.

- Working on national or multi-regional marketing campaigns with a deep understanding of regional consumer behaviors.

- Building effective brand loyalty programs that foster long-term customer engagement and advocacy
