Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced "Operation Excellence" to oversee and manage the production planning, and operational processes.
This leadership role requires a highly organized individual to handle sales requests, plan production, coordinate exports, and ensure timely delivery to clients, all while maintaining operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Request Management: Act as the primary point of contact for sales teams and clients to handle and review sales requests.
- Ensure all project requirements are clearly understood and communicated to the relevant teams.
- Production Planning: Develop detailed production plans and schedules, coordinating with internal departments to ensure that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Export Coordination: Manage the export process for products, ensuring compliance with international regulations, timely documentation, and coordination with logistics teams to facilitate smooth international shipments.
- Client Deliveries: Oversee the final stages of the project, ensuring products are delivered to clients on time, meeting agreed-upon specifications.
- Handle any logistics challenges that may arise and ensure client satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration between sales, production, and logistics departments to meet client expectations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and productivity throughout the project lifecycle, including optimizing workflows and reducing costs.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and resources, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project progress and manage expectations regarding delivery timelines, production status, and any potential delays.
- Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate potential risks in the production and delivery process, addressing any challenges proactively to minimize delays or disruptions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, production schedules, export status, and client communications.
- Provide regular status updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project planning, operations management, or production planning, ideally within Manufacturing Industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, logistics, and export procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex operational problems.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Master's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with international trade and export regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
