Job Title: Senior Manager, Procurement

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for managing procurement activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Indirect Goods & Services. This role will focus on implementing category strategies, improving procurement processes, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, experience in supplier management, and a strategic mindset to drive procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Execution:

• Implement procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Support category management for Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Indirect Goods & Services.
• Ensure alignment of procurement activities with business objectives.

Supplier & Category Management:

• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Develop long-term supplier partnerships to ensure quality and supply reliability.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Process Optimization & Compliance:

• Ensure procurement policies comply with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Implement digitalization and automation initiatives to streamline procurement processes.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality.

Risk Management & Performance Monitoring:

• Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks to ensure business continuity.
• Track procurement KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Finance, and Manufacturing, to enhance procurement operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Experience: 7–10 years in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.
• Expertise in:
• Procurement best practices and supplier negotiations.
• Contract management, tenders, and cost optimization.
• ERP systems and procurement digitalization.

• Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in FMCG, food, or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of Middle Eastern procurement regulations and compliance.
• Certification in procurement (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
