Regional Sales Manager - North

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Drive revenue growth and ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs for the North region.
• Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies to capture market share.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the regional sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.
• Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members.
• Set clear goals and monitor team performance through regular reviews and feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key accounts.
• Monitor distributor performance and ensure compliance with agreements.
• Plan and execute trade promotions, schemes, and incentives to drive sales.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activity.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans for the region.
• Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to meet customer needs effectively.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure efficient distribution, and minimize stock-outs.
• Oversee the implementation of sales processes, tools, and reporting systems.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• 15-20 years of sales experience, with at least 35 years in a leadership role managing large territories or regions.
• Candidates with experience in the Appliances industry are preferred, but not restricted.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of the North regions market dynamics and customer preferences.
