Job Description:
- Employee Engagement and Relations: partner with the business unit leaders to ensure that employees are treated equitably and consistently and Company policies and practices.
- Find the right balance between business needs and employee advocacy.
- Conducts effective investigations for Grievances & employee concerns backed by data and provide resolutions with effective documentation partner with stakeholders to proactively address the root cause of potentials issues and conflicts through appropriate HR interventions.
- Be an advisor to the managers on employee engagement strategies in response to the business needs.
- Foster a positive work environment and proactively address issues affecting employee morale.
- Coaching & Business Partnering : Provides day-to-day guidance to line management, liaise with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide guidance and coaching to business unit management that will enable them to be more successful as they lead their teams.
- Demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Conducts weekly meetings with respective business unit/s and follow through on action planning and outcomes, facilitate Townhall and R&R.
- Performance Management: Effectively administer the performance management process, including facilitating line manager excellence in managing low performers, recognizing high performers, and ensuring that employees have objective plans.
- Retention of key talent: Assess exit interview feedback, take suitable action, and assist with retention strategies for key talent.
- Employee Surveys and Focus Group Discussions: Conduct Focus Group Discussions, One-One , analyse employee surveys, follow through on the action planning for measurable outcomes.
Great Place to Work (GPTW) Preparedness:
- Ensure the organization is GPTW prepared by implementing best practices and initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with the teams to create a bespoke plan for your business unit to to implement the culture and engagement plan.
Support the GPTW certification process:
- Change champion: drive, influence and support the cultural and people aspects of organisational change, structure and people processes and improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness in people management.
Data Analysis , Decision-Making & Presentation:
- Proficiency in using HR data for informed decision-making.
- Analyse HR metrics and trends, providing insights to the team for continuous improvement and make data-driven recommendations through presentations.
- Prepare monthly HR dashboard and other reports.
Project Management:
- Ability to plan, execute, and manage HR projects effectively.
- Skill in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
HR Policy and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ensure that HR practices align with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Employee Life cycle management.
- Ensure effective onboarding and offboarding processes for a positive employee experience.
- Internal and External Audits: Lead and manage both internal and external audit of data, documentation and processes.
- Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform Internal audits to be compliant.
- Ensure that documents are maintained as per ISO requirements.
- As nominated Risk Champion for your function, work alongside the Risk function in developing and maintaining a risk management agenda, acting both to ensure the necessary levels of transparency for potential risks and promoting a positive culture of awareness and accountability throughout your function.
- Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory online training modules and attestations.
- Support with any activities as assigned.
