Job Description

Designation: Presales Consultant (Lead Associate)
Location: Pune (Hybrid)
Experience 3-6 years


The Lead Associate is a key member of the Presales team responsible for providing industry insights, domain knowledge, technical expertise, and thereby assist in providing the technical solution for the identified client problem statement via client interactions or against Request for Proposal (RFP). The Lead associate should also be able to assist in proactive client pitches and help in identifying client problem statement.


Job Description:


  • Assist in the Customer Profiling for proactive client pitches.
  • Work with the Delivery and Centre of Excellence (Domain) teams to understand client solution landscape (prospect/customer).
  • Assist in identifying client problem statement and positioning Opus capabilities against the same.
  • Orchestrate and work on the technical solution along with the Delivery and Centre of Excellence Teams when responding to Request for Proposals or working on a Client Pitch presentation
  • Review the technical solution with Client Partners, Account Managers, Presales, Delivery and Functional Heads
  • Able to conduct client demos and present Opus capabilities, Technical Solution and the Proposal.
  • Do retrospectives and incorporate learnings to improve future proposal response.
  • Proactively driving the proposal to the final delivery
  • Take ownership of proposal execution, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Stand-up to support a bid as a bid-manager if situation demands.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Seeking a candidate with 3-6 years of experience working in presales as a technical solution consultant.
  • Should have expertise working in the Payments domain (must have) and banking (nice to have).
  • Should have understanding on digital transformation journeys through cloud, product engineering, professional services, and managed services engagement models.
  • A well organised individual who works in tight deadlines, and problem-solving approach.
  • Should have a desire to be part of a fast-paced team.
  • Excellent administration and project management skills. Confidence coordinating teams and managing upwards.
  • A team player with a strong and confident personality and a positive attitude with great dedication.
  • Excellent written and communication skills are vital along with Story-telling.
  • Understanding of the New Business process and best practices.
  • Understands the Sales Lifecycle & able to work on multiple Enquires/Opportunities Simultaneously.
