Operations Manager - Training and Development ( Technical Skills )

Reporting to:

General Manager Training and Development

Job Profile:

1. The Operations Manager for Training and Development (Technical Skills) is responsible for managing the operational aspects of technical training programs within the department.
2. This role involves overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives that focus on enhancing students' technical skills.
3. The manager collaborates with technical trainers, faculties, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure that the training programs are relevant, up-to-date, and aligned to enhance students' technical skills.
4. A strong technical background, combined with expertise in training operations, is essential for success in this role.
5. The manager is also responsible for ensuring that all training programs meet industry standards and certifications, while continuously driving improvements in the training process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute training programs across all the vertical of B.Tech computer science engineering program.
2. Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.
3. Ensure all technical training programs comply with relevant industry standards, certifications, and down SOP of the department.
4. Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress, outcomes, and effectiveness of training programs as per the prescribed format.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

1. Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Technical Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A Masters degree is a plus.

Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience in training and development is desired.
2. Appropriate certification in Training and Development may be considered instead of experience.

Preferred Skills:

1. Ability to work with data analytics tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Task management tools, and familiarity with tools for collaboration and project management.
