Plant Administrator

Position Overview:

The Plant Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative functions of the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all operational, logistical, and employee-related processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Administrative Support:
• • Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence.
• • Oversee documentation processes for production, quality, and compliance reports.
• • Maintain inventory records and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
• 2. Operations Management:
• • Coordinate with plant managers and supervisors to ensure smooth production workflows.
• • Monitor facility maintenance schedules and address any operational issues.
• • Assist in tracking production KPIs and reporting discrepancies.
• 3. HR and Employee Relations:
• • Support HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee evaluations.
• • Address employee concerns and act as a liaison between staff and management.
• • Maintain employee attendance, payroll records, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
• 4. Compliance and Safety:
• • Ensure all plant activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• • Support safety training sessions and maintain updated safety documentation.
• • Monitor plant security and implement measures to safeguard assets.
• 5. Communication and Coordination:
• • Serve as the point of contact between the plant and corporate office.
• • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient operations.
• • Manage vendor and supplier relationships for timely delivery of goods and services.

Qualifications and Skills:

• • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• • Proven experience in plant administration or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Knowledge of safety regulations and labor laws.

Work Environment:

• • Based in a manufacturing facility with potential exposure to industrial equipment and noise.
• • Flexible working hours may be required during peak production periods.
