Sr. UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs, pain points, and behaviours.
• Design Solutions: Create innovative and visually appealing designs that provide a great user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design concepts and functionality.
• User-Cantered Design: Focus on delivering solutions that are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals, ensuring an exceptional user journey.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other designers to bring designs to life while ensuring design consistency and functionality.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain design systems, UI libraries, and style guides to ensure a consistent visual language across all platforms.
• Usability Testing: Perform usability testing, A/B testing, and user feedback sessions to continuously refine designs and improve the user experience.
• Iteration & Improvement: Regularly iterate on designs based on feedback, test results, and emerging trends to improve usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Cross-Platform Design: Design user interfaces that work seamlessly across different platforms (web, mobile, tablets) and ensure responsive and adaptive design.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies in the UI/UX space and incorporate these into your design process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of design principles and user experience strategies, including user-cantered design, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
• Expertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and user flows.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first design.
• Experience in conducting user research, creating personas, and analysing data to inform design decisions.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how designs integrate with development.
• Experience in working with design systems, creating consistent UI elements, and maintaining style guides.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating great user experiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of motion design and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Principle).
• Experience with accessibility tools and creating accessible designs.
• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
