Jr. Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., designers, product managers) to understand project requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit tests to ensure the reliability of your code and perform debugging as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with Java programming language changes, frameworks, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1-2 years of experience in Java development or relevant internships/projects.
• Basic understanding of Java (Core Java, Java 8+), object-oriented programming (OOP), and software development principles.
• Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate (not mandatory, but a plus).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
• A strong desire to learn and grow as a developer and contribute to a collaborative team.

Technical Skills:

• Languages: Java (Core Java, Java 8+), basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Frameworks: Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate (nice to have).
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases; basic SQL knowledge.
• Tools: Git, Maven (or Gradle), basic IDE knowledge (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse).
• Others: Knowledge of REST APIs and web services is a plus.
