Position Title: IT Recruiter
Location: Chennai
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 3-4 Years in IT Recruitment
Role Overview:
As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for IT positions across various levels and technologies. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, source top talent, conduct interviews, and ensure the best candidates are hired for the organization's IT needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
- Proactively source, screen, and interview IT candidates using a variety of platforms, including job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and internal databases. Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through networking and direct outreach.
Job Posting & Candidate Screening:
- Create and post compelling job advertisements for IT roles, ensuring they accurately reflect job requirements and appeal to top talent. Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
Interviewing & Selection:
- Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers and senior technical staff. Assist in conducting interviews, assessing candidates' technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and cultural fit. Provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements, expectations, and timelines. Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on market trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment strategies.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, maintaining consistent communication and timely feedback.
Offer Management & Onboarding Support:
- Facilitate offer negotiations, ensuring candidates have a clear understanding of the compensation package and role expectations. Assist with the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transition from offer acceptance to joining.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting:
- Track recruitment activities and produce regular reports on the status of open roles, time-to fill, candidate pipelines, and other relevant recruitment metrics.
Market Research & Trends:
- Stay up to date with IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and talent market conditions to ensure effective recruitment strategies.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in IT recruitment, specifically for roles such as software developers, network engineers, system administrators, cybersecurity experts, and data engineers.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and technical skills required for recruitment. Proficiency in using various recruitment tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Monster, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to assess candidate technical skills and cultural fit.
Qualifications:
- A postgraduate in Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Desirable Qualities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Experience working in recruitment for a diverse range of technical roles (software development, IT infrastructure, security, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
