About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Technical Recruiter to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the interview process and extending offers.
Your focus will be on identifying and attracting top-tier talent in the IT field, including software engineers, developers, data scientists, network engineers, and other technical roles.
This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial requisition to offer acceptance.
- Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing strategies, including online job boards, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), professional networking sites, and industry events to identify qualified candidates.
- Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates.
- Screening: Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare candidates for interviews and provide feedback to hiring managers.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs and providing regular updates on the recruitment process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
- Technical Proficiency: Develop a deep understanding of the technical skills and requirements for various IT roles.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize the ATS to track candidate progress, manage requisitions, and generate reports.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ATS.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to employer branding initiatives by representing the company professionally at career fairs, industry events, and online platforms.
- Reporting: Track key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management.
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's/ master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:3-7 years of experience in IT technical recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with both agency and in-house recruiting is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and roles.
- Ability to effectively screen and assess technical skills.
- Sourcing Skills: Proven ability to source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, and networking events.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- ATS Experience: Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to recruitment challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for [mention specific technologies or industries, e.g , cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI/ML].
- Experience with Boolean search techniques.
- Familiarity with various interview techniques (e.g , behavioral, technical).
- Certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, AIRS)
