? About the role
? Business Development & Revenue Generation: Identify and target potential advertisers from the South Indian market across various sectors such as retail, e-commerce, technology, FMCG, and more. Drive sales of digital advertising products including display ads, video ads, and other custom advertising solutions on Indiatimes.
? Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs, offer tailored advertising solutions, and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize revenue potential.
? Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand Indiatimes presence in the South market. Leverage local market knowledge to position Indiatimes as a preferred advertising platform.
? Campaign Management & Execution: Work closely with the operations and creative teams to ensure smooth execution of ad campaigns. Oversee the process from campaign planning to execution, ensuring campaigns run on time and deliver results for clients.
? Market Intelligence & Reporting: Stay updated on trends, competitors, and opportunities in the South Indian advertising landscape. Provide regular reports on sales activities, revenue performance, and market insights to senior leadership.
? Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close advertising deals, ensuring that terms and conditions align with company objectives while meeting client requirements. Drive revenue growth while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Customer Service & Retention: Provide outstanding post-sales support to clients, ensuring a seamless experience and long-term relationships. Follow up regularly to ensure continued client satisfaction, retention, and renewals.
? Candidate Profile
? Ideal candidate should have experience in working Sales/Digital agency.
? ?Familiarity with the increasing range of communications platforms, and how they can be used in advertising and marketing campaigns.
? The candidate should also have knowledge of the major industry domains and ability to work under pressure.
? Media Sales for online business also requires creating working relationships with direct clients that will translate into long term business.
? The person needs to have fantastic Presentation skills and has to have a knack for making deals/ proposals & costings on excel sheets.
? An indefatigable person with high self-esteem and perspicacious nature is that kind of person who will thrive in this role.
? Should have good team management skills.
