Job Description

As the Ad Sales Manager based in Delhi, your primary responsibility will be to generate revenue by selling advertisement spacein various Delhi Press magazines. You will play a crucial role in driving the advertising sales strategy, establishing relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.
You will be representing some of the most widely read magazines in India, as well as their digital editions. A strong emphasis of the role will be on branded content sales, as well as increasing the digital revenues for Delhi Press magazine websites.
Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue from ad sales in Kolkata and nearby regions.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
  3. Ad Space Sales: Identify and target potential advertisers and promote ad space in Delhi Press magazines to meet or exceed sales targets.
  4. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value of advertising in Delhi Press magazines.
  5. Branded Content Sales: Ideating and conceptualizing branded content ideas across print, digital, and events, in collaboration with the marketing, digital, and editorial teams
  6. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market analysis for management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as editorial, production, digital and marketing to ensure effective execution of advertising campaigns.
  8. Sales Targets: Set ambitious sales targets and work towards achieving or surpassing them, driving the overall revenue growth of Delhi Press magazines.
Requirements:
  1. Education: A bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of experience in media sales, advertising sales, or related roles, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the advertising industry, media landscape, and magazine publishing sector.
  4. Sales Skills: Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  5. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
  6. Market Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of the local market, including potential advertisers, market trends, and competitors.
  7. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
  8. Result-Oriented: Self-motivated and target-driven, with a strong focus on achieving sales goals and delivering results.
  9. Computer Skills: Proficiency in using MS Office applications and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
