Accounts Associate

Role & responsibilities

• Payment Processing and Cash Management
• Ledger Maintenance and Reconciliation
• Monitor cash flows to ensure adequate funds are available for payments
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices
• Analyze the aging report and implement strategies to improve the collection process
• Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation
• Identify areas for process improvement within the payment and ledger maintenance functions.
• Implement best practices and automation to streamline accounting processes
• Month-end and Year-end Closing
• Compliance and Auditing

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive with a focus on payment and ledger maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
