Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with knowledge of financial instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees (BG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards. The role will also involve managing the financial aspects of LC and BG transactions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation and classification of transactions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including managing vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Prepare tax filings and assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reporting.
• Track financial performance and report variances.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for future reference and audit purposes.
• Manage and process Letters of Credit (LC), ensuring compliance with contractual terms and proper documentation for international trade.
• Handle Bank Guarantees (BG), ensuring timely issuance and compliance with agreement terms.
• Monitor the status of LCs and BGs and maintain records of any adjustments or renewals.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding LC and BG-related matters.
