Location: Bidadi (35km from Bangalore), Karnataka.

As the Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our company. Your expertise and analytical skills will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of the company's performance, including profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to inform decision-making.
• Analyze financial trends, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and scorecards.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
• Prepare accurate forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business plans.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance.
• Implement strategies to improve budgeting accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of various factors on the company's financial performance.
• Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and systems.
• Implement best practices and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide financial support for ad-hoc requests from management and stakeholders.
• Conduct special projects and analyses as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Cost Accountant (ICWA) with 4-8 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.
