Certification Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Organize and maintain all certification files.
• To maintain NPOP, USDA-NOP, GLOBAL GAP, BRC, ISO 22000:2018, FSSAI certifications of the company.
• To handle organic certifications of Farming, Processing, Trading, Green House, etc.
• To handle Organic export and domestic operations.
• As an internal inspection of projects, Prepare and maintain documents required for external audit.
• Assist in providing technical support to the organization & buyers and handle export & domestic, customers queries, etc. .
• Maintains expertise on technical organic issues. May interact at regulatory level on certification matters.
• Conduct inspections of operations requesting certification, as needed. 
• To support production team regarding plant protection application and Good Agricultural
  Practices.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors /Masters graduate preferably in Agriculture/Horticulture/Entomology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of Organic Certification with knowledge of GAP & Global GAP.
• Thorough knowledge of organic standards applicable to farm operations.
• Sound time management skills to ensure multiple tasks simultaneously are completed within compressed timeframes.
• Ability to logically solve problems under pressure.
• Sound active listening skills, Critical thinking skills & Team-oriented working skills.
• Creative and visionary leadership with the ability to drive a high volume of work to completion.
