Quality Control Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure adherence of Process Quality Manual guidelines & FSSC 22000 criteria in the packhouse.
• Responsible for execution of internal audit for Food Safety Management System.
• To ensure GHP , GMP & GLP compliance and have basic knowledge on Regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspection on RM,FG & PM as per FSSAI requirements
• To lead the adherence of Plant Quality management system & SOP at each node of process in plant
• To develop SOPs and specification for defining quality parameters
• Ensure Quality compliance requirements of the unit against FSSC 22000
• Hazard identification & risk assessment
• Ensure compliance requirements are met according to Foods Safety Act 2006
• Responsible for handling customer complaints & perform root cause analysis & implement corrective action
• Coordinate with production and other department for process improvement
• Conduct training for supervisors & workers on different topic of Food Safety
• Ensure all quality documents are getting updated in different department on daily basis.
• Ensure all PRPs & CCP’s are maintained in the day-to-day production process.
• Ensure pest control services are done on regular basis and renewal of agreements are done
• Plan for monthly external lab analysis
• Ensure the calibration of weighing scale and internal equipment’s are done by coordinating with external agencies.
• Ensure organic processing practices are maintained in the organic section.

Knowledge & Skill :

• Knowledge of FSMS , Food safety act 2006 , FSSAI guidelines, NPOP standards & organic processing practices
• FSSC 22000 Internal auditor & HACCP Level 3 certified
• Exposure to internal or external audits

Education & Experience:

• Master’s degree/B. Tech in Food Technology/Food Science or related field
• Minimum of 3+ year experience in similar field Role & responsibilities
