Vendor Management and Negotiation

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for food, beverages, equipment, and other requirements.

2.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality.

3.

Maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and regularly assess their performance.

Cost and Quality Assurance

1.

Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

2.

Implement quality control measures to ensure that all goods and services meet the organizations standards.

3.

Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends, product availability, and alternatives.

Team Leadership and Coordination

1.

Lead a team of purchasing managers and coordinators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

2.

Collaborate with chefs, hotel managers, and other stakeholders to understand and fulfill procurement needs.

3.

Train and mentor, the purchasing team on best practices and industry standards.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards for food safety, environmental sustainability, and vendor contracts.

2.

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports on spending, savings, and supplier performance.

3.

Develop risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions.
